Important Health + Safety Information

As we slowly begin to re-open, there are a few important changes + details you’ll need to be aware of before you arrive.

Please WATCH our re-opening video above and READ all of the following information BEFORE heading to the gym for your next climbing/fitness training session.



Know Before You Arrive

  • NEW WAIVER: everyone returning to the gym must complete a new waiver ONLINE.
  • RESERVATIONS REQUIRED: every person must have a reservation; DO NOT bring additional people with you including children + non-climbers.
  • RESERVATIONS FOR OTHER PEOPLE: to avoid issues at check-in, please enter the proper spelling of names and accurate birthdays for all people included in your reservation.
  • MEMBERS: please bring your membership scan card or access the RGP app to help expedite the check-in/check-out process; ask the front desk if you need a replacement.
  • MEMBER GUEST PASSES: members must be present in order to use a guest pass.
  • DAY PASS USERS: ages 14+ only; must check-in with the front desk on arrival and check-out before leaving the facility.
  • LATE ARRIVALS: those who do not arrive within the first 15 minutes of their reserved time risk losing their reservation to other climbers; after 30 minutes, our system will automatically cancel the reservation..
  • CANCELLATIONS: if your plans change, please be sure to cancel your reservation; 1) to cancel, please call us at 253-564-4899 or respond to the confirmation email received; 2) non-member cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not receive a refund; 3) no-shows will not receive a refund and forfeit the opportunity to reschedule.
  • ZONE RESERVATIONS: you must stay within your reserved area/zone for the full 2 hour session. If space permits, you may request to move to a new area/zone; staff approval required.
  • RGPro CONNECT APP: we strongly recommend all members download the RGPro Connect app; set-up is easy + it allows you to view existing reservations and make/cancel new ones.
  • LOCKERS + SHOWERS: all are closed; please arrive ready to climb. Bathrooms are open and cubbies are available.
  • Be respectful + kind to everyone as we all learn to navigate our new health + safety guidelines

New Gym Guidelines

  • MASKS REQUIRED: must be worn properly + at all times by everyone inside the facility; if you need a break or to take a phone call, please step outside.
  • CHECK-IN + CHECK-OUT: both are required for everyone entering + leaving the facility; day pass users must check-in/out with the front desk.
  • CAPACITY: our low capacity numbers help us prioritize health + safety; for this reason, do not arrive early for your reservation or stay longer than your reserved 2 hour time slot.
  • ENTER/EXIT FLOW: please enter through the front door + exit through the new side door exit.
  • LIQUID CHALK ONLY: please leave your chalk bags at home; we’re providing dispensers of free liquid chalk + selling it in our retail.
  • WASH/SANITIZE HANDS: upon entering the gym, often during your visit and upon leaving; hand sanitizer is available in many locations throughout the facility.
  • WATER: bring a reusable water bottle; there is no drinking from the fountains at this time.
  • PHYSICAL DISTANCING: maintain 6 ft of space between yourself + others at all times; adhere to distance/capacity markers located on the climbing floor and around the facility.
  • ROPED CLIMBING: Climb only on ropes/anchors that are open + available.
  • LEAD CLIMBING: allow at least 1 line of draws between you + another climber.
  • WEIGHT/CARDIO AREAS: maintain 10 ft of space between yourself + others at all times; masks are still required at all times.
  • FITNESS EQUIPMENT: wipe down all fitness equipment before + after use.
  • GROUPS: avoid gathering in groups of 5+ people.

Health + Safety Screening

Please DO NOT ENTER the facility if you have:
  • been diagnosed with COVID-19, have not recovered and/or are still within the 14-day quarantine,
  • been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days,
  • experienced any symptoms within the last 24 hours; cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, fatigue,
  • had a fever in the last 48 hours,
  • have new loss of taste or smell,
  • had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours.
