Facility Rules
WAIVER: |
Anyone using our facility MUST have a signed waiver on file. Anyone under 18 requires the signature of a parent or legal guardian. |
CHECK-IN: |
Everyone must check-in at the beginning of each visit. If you have not checked-in, you do not have permission to use the facilities. |
YOUTH: |
Youth (under 14) must be actively supervised by an adult at all times. Unattended children are not allowed on the padded climbing floor. Small children must stay within arms reach of a parent or other adult. One adult cannot supervise more than 3 youth at a time. Must be 14 years or older to use weights/cardio equipment or attend a class. |
Etiquette
RESPECT: |
Always be respectful of other climbers. Walk; running is never permitted. No yelling, roughhousing, horseplay or gymnastics (flips, cartwheels, etc) Share the walls and wait your turn. Brush your holds and let those who brush it crush it first. Don't offer unsolicited beta or climbing advice Closed toed shoes are required while climbing. Shirts must be worn at all times. Remove climbing shoes before entering bathrooms. |
STAY ALERT: |
Never walk or climb under other climbers. Check for nearby climbers before starting your climb. Take turns in high traffic areas, on problems that cross, or with intersecting fall zones. Wearing headphones? Keep the volume low enough to be aware of other climbers. Secure items in pockets; do not allow items to drop from the wall. |
Bouldering
FALL ZONES: |
Keep fall zones clear of people and belongings. Always spot landings before returning to the ground |
FALLING: |
Down climb whenever possible. Learn to fall properly by rolling onto your butt, back, or side as needed. |
TRAVERSING: | Yield to other climbers on the wall when traversing. |
